Linda, I have not used or heard of it. what I have just read tells me it is for arthritis. Does Sadie HAVE arthritis? Kahlu had joints that were creaking sometimes, but we came to the conclusion that it was more due to his loose joints (soft tissue) than arthritis. why would a dog so young have arthritis? Does Sadie seem to be in pain or is it just creaking and bothering you? Just like you said, why add something if you don’t have to:) If it indeed is arthritis I guess it would be worth a shot, if it is not arthritis you give her something she does not need and pouring money down the drain!
Best wishes,
Brigitte
Vally, don’t think that the paranoia will ever go away. That is who we are now:) Crazy paranoid dog women!
I am glad Bingo is doing good and hopefully those bumps are healing up soon. And of course right away I am thinking again (have we talked paranoia?) What kind of bites could they be? mosquitoes? do you have to worry about heart worm? snakes? heaven forbid ! or fleas? See now even I am paranoid about Bingo. For me it transfers to all those lovely furry creatures:)
Best wishes, Brigitte
Hi Vally
Phew! Glad nothing untoward happened last night, apart from the cat pooh incident (little monkey). If the pimples look pustule-like, have grown & have got heads now, I think you’re very wise to check with the vets – at least you’ll know what on earth they are & can do something about it. When their immune system is compromised, of course everything is a worry in case it gets worse & I promise I would be exactly the same. Good luck at the Vets – let us know how you get on when you get a chance.

Hi Vally
Glad he’s been fine since – what a worry for you though. I didn’t realise he’d had a problem before, so atonic seizure is maybe a possibility then. No good sleeps for you for a while – Hey Ho AIHA is sent to try us.
Bingo – listen to your Aunty Sheena – don’t you dare have any more little episodes, OK?
Love, Sheena & the gang.
Hi Vally
Sorry to hear this – do you think he went unconscious at all? As Brigitte says, was it like the steps episode? Filming it is a great idea if it happens again, heaven forbid. I don’t know what it could be either, apart from hurting himself by moving – did he flail his legs around at all? I know you would have said if he had a history of epilepsy or anything. If his temperature seems fine, that should theoretically rule out infection, although his ear pimple problem may be something? I know being too hot can cause seizures though & you’ve had some very hot weather over there.
Bingo – stop worrying your Mum & have a good sleep.
Let us know how he is as soon as you can – I will be thinking about you both, you can count on that.
Love Sheena & the gang
Vally, I am so sorry for that scare. What is going on with that little guy? Bumps on the skin, crying at night? I am assuming the bumps are a side effect of the drugs. But the waking and crying at night is a bit scary. Sorry I have no idea what it could have been. If it happens again can you film it, maybe with your phone. I remember my vet telling me that once. They can get a better idea of what they are dealing with. And of course when our dogs are in a state like that we can think of nothing but how to get it on camera….. Was ist similar to the earlier incident where you thought he hit his head on the stairs? i hope it wont happen again and it was just a fluke!
Best wishes,
Brigitte
