PCV still at twenty…… yay! Our vet urging caution, because, yes, it is early days and last time there was still agglutination. But at least the red cells have held steady.
I am in Dinard, competing with horses, Sheena

Yes, steady is much much better than any drops. When does she get checked again?

Hi Lynda
20 is a good number in the circumstances, so the red cell destruction may be slowing down now from the sound of it – I am so happy to hear she hasn’t dropped too much this time. Worzel was around 16-18 for ages, as you know, but admittedly he didn’t have the agglutination problem. Come on Honey baby – get those reticulocytes going for your Mum.
Good luck with the horse competition – have fun – Brittany is a beautiful region, but a 7 hour journey from us!

Hi Lynda. This is what Sadie did – it took a while for the Atopica to kick in but she stayed stable. That’s a good thing, as Vally and Sheena said. :)
I love that you compete with horses. A love of mine from childhood. It has been years since I have been on a horse, but I love them dearly. Good luck with your competition.
Keep the posts coming – love the news we’re hearing – keep up the great work Honey!
Love and hugs, Linda and Sadie
Only 7 hrs Sheena???? We had to drive 13 hrs to get here!!! But the horses are going well, so it’s been worth it.
We are taking Honey for another blood test on Wed….. so keep fingers crossed!

Yep – “only” 7 hrs would make it impossible to pop up & see you! Good luck Wednesday – hoping you get another stable result at least – crossing everything for some baby red cells too, but patience is a virtue. Let us know how the competition went with your lovely horses.

Hi Lynda. I’ll be thinking of you too on Wednesday with Honey’s bloodwork. Are they just doing the PCV OR A full panel CBC? No matter – I hope she’s moving upward – if not though, don’t be too discouraged, the fact that she’s stable is still great. It will happen and you’ll be doing the ‘silly grin’ thing all day long. :)
Safe travel from the competition. Keep us posted.
Love, Libda and Sadie
Hi all – they are doing a PCV and then sending off a sample to the labs for full analysis….. we will be waiting with bated breath….
The competition went really well – both my horses jumped great. And now we are home, and tired.
BUT – I did come home to a (relatively) perky Honey. Behaviourally, she seems about the same, so no decline over the last week….. let’s just hope and pray the PCV agrees.
