- Split: Nula (5yr old English Cocker Spaniel)
Had an update this am and she’s doing really well! Kept down her food last night and this morning and she’s a lot brighter and keeps wanting to come out of her kennel :) She’s still on track to come home tomorrow :D There won’t be a PCV update this evening, though her vet will still call, because they’ll take blood tonight to get her PCV result tomorrow morning. And if that’s looking good, and her platelets look good too then she can come home!! They said she’s still very ill, and not out of the woods, but this is a really good step in the right direction :D I can’t wait to see her!!!!! Xxxxxxxx
Ruth, this is wonderful!
I remember my vet saying, we can be cautiously optimistic. I think this is the case with Nula now. You can be optimistic even though your vet says she is not out of the woods. Nula has made a great turn around and that should tell you she will get better. I am sure you will have a great day, counting the minutes until you see your girl again:)
Best wishes,
Brigitte
Wonderful news!!! Or should I say, wonderfuler?!? We should do ‘during’ and ‘after’ pics together. Look at that (now) spunky gal! I love that she wants out of her crate. That is awesome. And most important – she’s coming home – so happy to hear that!
When Nula gets home, I would still try to keep her pretty calm for a while. She still needs rest – she’s been through a lot – you both have. You two can snuggle and catch up on some much needed sleep – together. :)
Looking forward to updates! Love and hugs,
Linda and Sadie
Nula’s home!!!!!! And first thing she did was have the runs in the driveway and then throw up in the garden! Think it’s just the car journey :/ . Trying to get her to have a quiet afternoon. Not sure how long that will last though! But she seems ok so far :D It’s so good to have her home!!!!!!!!!!! Xxxxxxxx
