- Dora has a new friend
Hi Lynda
I’m glad Shona is keeping everyone on their toes. I often toy with the idea of getting a kitten friend for Mable and then remember the endless chewing of cables, climbing of curtains, and general getting-into-scrapes. As for a puppy? I just can’t imagine!
Have a wonderful time camping. I know you will feel sad but I am sure it will be good to get away and introduce Shona to the great outdoors. I hope Dora is coping with it all.
Love, Mary and Mable x
Hi Lynda, Consuelo, Dora & Shona. I love the picture!!!! Both pups are beautiful and of course, it’s wonderful to know Shona has her new forever home AND Dora has a lovely, new sister. Huge smile. :)
Have a wonderful time camping. Be safe. I just bet we’re going to hear some ‘stories’ upon your return. Waiting with baited breath. Ha!
Love and hugs to you all, Linda and Sadie
Well, Shona was thrown in the deep end. Two days of good weather with lots of walks, then a typical British summer day….. it chucked it down all day. Dora was NOT amused at having to go out and walk in the woods in the pouring rain. But she coped with bouncy Shona….. who was trying to chase swallows this morning, leaping around on the end of the lead, with me trying not to fall over!
They coped well with being on a campsite, and we all enjoyed it – though of course still missing Honey terribly.

Hi Lynda
I’m glad you had a nice time away. Don’t you just love our British “summers”? Still, it’s all part of the fun I suppose. I love the picture of the girls all curled up, and am pleased to hear Dora is coping with Shona’s antics. Shona certainly looks very settled and she is such a lucky girl to have found such a wonderful home. I am sure you miss Honey like crazy but you have done an amazing thing to rehome this little girl and give her a great life.
Much love to you, Consuelo, Dora and Shona. I look forward to hearing more tales of Shona’s monkey business!

Hi Lynda
I was talking about you all today & wanted to drop you a quick line – how’s the cheeky new girl doing? Love the holiday snap! I know Honey is still sorely missed by you all and I’m glad you have the lovely Shona to take your minds off things a little. Please keep in touch when you feel like it – it would be lovely to hear your news

I love the pics of them sleeping in their beds. Tuckered out for sure! Sweet, sweet girls. So glad you had a great time. Thinking of you all.
Love and hugs, Linda and Sadie
PS – In two weeks Sadie will be staying for almost three weeks with FIVE greyhounds. She just walks under their legs. Although, she thinks she’s a greyhound too (which is why she loves Worzel so!). Okay, Bingo too, but Bingo – you and Sadie get into too much mischief together, this telepathic conspiring!
