Got a call from the Vet today. Nauset is still anemic and her lungs are now mostly clear. She does now test positive for heart worms. Shewill need treatmeent and be caged for three months. I fell terrible.. I guess it is a must if she is to have a chance. Please say prayers.

I am willing her to get better with all my strength – thank goodness you are so kind-hearted. With you behind her, she has the best chance in the world of a full recovery. Better to be caged with you than stuck in the animal shelter with no-one to love her.

Joe, good news on the clear lungs. Yes the crating will be hard and upsetting but it’s being done because you care so much. It’s not an act of cruelty, but an act of kindness. You have such a kind heart.

You and Nauset have come together for a reason, I’m sure. She is lucky, after all that you have been through that you still have so much love and kindness to give her.
