- Nauset
Nauset is doing so-so. Coughing so lungs probably have fluid. I am very anxious. It is difficult to relax.
Sorry I haven’t been around. Still grieving. Had a dream about Dunes two nights ago. Woke up weeping. I truly did not think I would be like this. It will be somewhat better if Nauset survives. My love to all. Please forgive me.
Yes Joe – you are FAMILY here. We love you and it hurts so to know you hurt. But of course you do. We know……
Please stay with us – write your thoughts – it will be good to get it out and there is no one better to ‘listen’ than us, your friends that know and love you, Nauset AND Dunes.
The crying too, it’s okay. I think it’s all part of the process. Trouble is, with us softies, the process lasts. That’s why we’re all friends – we love our pups.
My love and strength to you and Nauset, Linda
Dear Joe,
just as with AIHA I will advice you to take it one day at a time. For Nauset’s illness and for your state of mind, one day at a time.
A good friend sent me this poem when Kahlu died:
“A butterfly lights beside us like a sunbeam.
And for a brief moment its glory and beauty
belong to our world.
But then it flies on again,
and though we wish it could have stayed,
we feel so lucky to have seen it.”
Be kind to yourself, Love Brigitte
Nauset is doing well after the second treatment. She is being caged more because she is getting more rowdy and acting like a Lab. She is so excited to see me.
She is being reduced on the prednisone today to 30mg 1 x daily as opposed to 2x daily. That’s good. I sure see the difference in her behavior with the prednisone. I never noted it with my Dunes.
Very glad most are doing well. I did not even think about cats getting the disease.
This site is so much better than the facebook site.
Much love to all,
Joe
