Maybe get hubbie, as you said, to see about a swab.  That will at least determine whether it is an ulcer or an infection.

Oh Tamara, big hugs.  The PCV drop of 3 isn’t dramatic.  There can be so many reasons for slight ups and downs.  When do you get the results?

I don’t know if the link works, but this was Bingo on Wednesday night, all good again.  Me?  Just a bit poorer.  As you can see, he displays no difficulty with his front left leg, or anything else!!!  Yesterday, I worried about giving him the smaller dose of 1/8th tablet, but he was fine last night and fine again this morning.  I’m now wondering whether he may have hurt himself the other day (although what he would have done to hurt himself I don’t know, he’s such a lazy thing) rather than it being the arthritis.  That would be great really.  I suppose the next few weeks will tell.

Sheena, Ollie sounds like me. I was an impossible eater as a kid.  My poor mum had a terrible time getting me to eat.  She used to make me milk shakes and once I saw egg shells in the sink and that was the last time I ever drank one of mum’s milk shakes.  She also used to make meat balls which I loved, but then I found brains (yes sheep brains!!!) in the fridge.  Last time I ever ate mum’s meatballs.
