Oh Alyssa, she’s gorgeous! I’m so glad she seems to be feeling well in herself and that you are seeing her becoming more interested in what’s going on around her. How is her pee now? Fingers and toes crossed that the antibiotics are kicking in and doing their job.
Please don’t worry about letting off steam about the financial side of this. It is a very real stress factor and as much as we don’t want to worry about it, it is totally understandable and does cause additional anxiety.
Please give that lovely girl a cuddle from me
Mary and Mable x
Yep the toy I got her yesterday :)
She played with it a bunch more today, too! It seems she cant ignore this one, lol.I’ve bought it in the past and she always loves it. I’ve been leaving it laying out in the floor, and she will randomly decide to pounce on it and start pulling out stuffing. Chases it with thrown and tug-o-wars. Past 2 days is the most she has played in over a month!
Her pee seems fine. Besides that one day when I posted, there hasn’t been anymore blood, and I watch through the whole stream and any additional squats but she stopped that as well. My neighbors probably think I’m insane, following her around at night with a flashlight to watch her pee stream.
Oh, she’s just a real cutie! I love a “plastic” tummy – Worzel is like that too – not much hair at all. He loves to show everyone & ask for a rub. Please give Sassy a good tummy rub from me. Great to hear she’s playful – it means a lot to us when they are enjoying life once more after going through such a bad patch.
My neighbours are also convinced I am mental – following Mr W. round the garden, looking at what he “produces” with a torch, collecting samples of yukky things. Why worry – at least we are “different”! Good way to start a conversation …..?
It does sound like the antibiotics are helping a lot – keep it going Sassy
Love Sheena & the boys xxxxx
Just got back from our checkup, she’s at 42.93% today! We get to lower the pred to 1 tab a day now :)
Would it be best to do half in the am and half in the pm, or just one tab in the morning?
My regular vet wasn’t there and the notes in the computer were wrong; saying I am giving her 1.5 Azathioprine, when I am only giving one. So the temp vet told me 1 pill; I’m assuming that was suppose to be a reduction. I tried to ask but she wants me to wait until Monday and let my regular vet decide if she knew I was on 1 tab or not.
