Lola

[Vally]

Yes, they’ll get tummy upsets at the drop of a hat and, yes, usually get over it just as quickly.  What dose of pred is Lola on now?  Good luck on Thursday.

Hi Ashley

So pleased to hear that Lola is continuing to do so well. I hope that her tummy soon settles down and that you get another good set of results on Thursday. Glad she’s had a haircut too, smart little lady :)

Hi Ashley

Wishing you lots of luck on Thursday – hope Lola’s tummy is soon better. These drugs make them prone to anything & everything. How’s the pred reduction going?

Hello.

The prednisone reduction seems to be going well (fingers crossed for good results tomorrow).  She currently gets one prednisone pill in the morning every other day.  The reduction has lowered the side effects, but she still tends to pant/get warm the days she takes it.  I’m actually on it, myself, and I really understand her pain.  I know it’s a miracle drug, but it just takes it out of you!  We are still giving her Azathioprine and Melatonin every night.  I am hopeful that the Azathioprine has taken over some of the need for the prednisone, and that we can lower the prednisone dosage after tomorrow’s visit.  Will keep you all posted.  Appreciate the positive thoughts!

Great news!  Another good check up.  Lola is feeling great, and we are reducing the Prednisone to 1 pill every 2 days in the morning.  She  continue on her Azathioprine and Melatonin.  Thanks for all the good vibes!
