Lola

Hi Ashley

Good to hear that Lola’s dose was already reducing, and I wish her luck with the current reduction. I hope you are successful in finding a good specialist near to you, which I think is a great idea. Do let us know how your lovely girl gets on.

Lola is doing really well and seems to be feeling much better.  Our dog walker even commented on how “fired up” Lola has been lately.  Lola’s prednisone side effects are not as bad, but she still gets hot very easily.  She goes back to the vet Saturday to check her numbers.  Fingers crossed.

Ashley, she’s sounding great.  You can usually tell a lot by their attitude.  Good luck on Saturday.

Regards, Vally & Bingo.

Hello all.

Lola had another great appointment last week.  We are keeping the medicine as is just be safe.  She goes back to the doctor on the 28th.  From there, we’ll decide whether any medications can be reduced.  She has had an upset tummy yesterday and today, and I’m looking into getting her something for her tummy.

Hey Ashley, that’s wonderful.  Sounds like Lola is doing great.  Tummy upsets happen a lot.  The drugs are pretty mean.  I can’t remember does Lola take some form of tummy  protection?  Good luck on the 28th.

Lola is not currently on anything for her tummy as she had not had any problems.  We did switch food recently, which may explain the tummy upset.  It was over as fast as it came and wasn’t very severe.  We have family in town and are bumping her vet visit up to this Thursday so that she can see her doggy cousins.  Will keep you all posted.  She got her summer hair cut today, so that was pretty exciting!
