Wondering how things are too. Hope all is well – please let us know. And thank you once again for your wonderful support for everyone else who is going through this evil disease. May that river flow gently & positively for Coal until it reaches Complete Recovery Bay! It’s hard to find on the map, but it IS there.

Hello lovelies!
I am sorry I have been absent we are on spring break this week. We have been at my moms beach house on Cape Cod. Coal is doing well. She was introduced to the ocean for the first time and loved it. She did manage to tear open one of her pads on her back foot. :( she doesn’t seem any worse for the wear with her steroid reduction. As a matter of fact she has increased her sassy behavior. :) I will write more when I get home. It is hard to type on my iPad. Thank you for checking in. <3 Amy & Coal
Hi Amy
Aaawwwwhh poor Coal’s sore paw – but sounds like it’s not bothering her. Hope you are having an brilliant time! Speak when you get back – I hate typing on those things too.
Sheena x
Amy, I’m glad to hear Coal is acting fine and enjoying her seaside holiday. Sorry about the paw too – see when we start to relax a bit, and stop paying 250% attention, I believe they need to find little things to make sure we’re aware that they they they are the centre of the universe.
Yep the iPad is a pain, but not as bad as the phone.
Love Vally & Bingo, who is sulking as he had a bath today :(

Hi Amy – good to read that Coal is hanging in, doing well. Have fun and keep us posted. 😊
BTW – It’s either my iPad or IPhone for me – typos galore!!!! Get it. 😉

We are home and exhausted!!! What a fun weekend. I was able to spend some time with the kids and no electronics! What a blessing. The dogs had a great time visiting the Cape and my mom’s dog Blizzard. Coal’s pad is healed and she doesn’t seem bothered by it so I was happy about that. She is going to the groomer tomorrow we worked out a situation that I would bathe her at home and brush her out and the groomer would clip her the next day. That way she is not at the groomers all day in a cage waiting to dry and there will be no other dogs while she is there. I am trying to reduce her stress. She is going to start obedience training in a few weeks since we were cleared by the vet. She can not go to puppy play group but she can be in a class with a few dogs. It should be interesting. As for the IMHA she also has a vet appointment tomorrow. So she will have her blood drawn. Thanks for checking in.
Love and Blessings,
Amy and Coal the water poodle!
Hi Any. I know that exhaustion well – great time, but go, go, go. Glad you had such a wonderful time and home, safe and sound. And so glad Coal had a good visit too. The beach is always good medicine.
Good luck at the groomers. I like the way you’re doing it. Sadie, being a cocker, needs grooming too. I watched a video when she was a pup and started grooming get myself. Yes, I have done some really bad cuts, but at this point, she doesn’t look too bad. Never actually ‘cut’ her, so I guess that’s more important. 😉
Knowing the groomer is everything and as long as she does not get stressed being groomed or being away from you, she’ll be fine. Again, great way to do it. 😊
Poor Sadie has to put up with me. Although, it’s really not rocket science and quite easy. It just takes me three times the time. 😜
Good luck with the vet visit. Let us know how it goes.

Well Bingo constantly reminds me that I snipped his ear once – such a whinge – there was hardly any blood at all !!!
He got a haircut on Saturday – took about 10 sessions. He kept threatening to throw himself off the table outside every 5 minute, so I’d grab him just as he’s about to dive off and put him down again. This went on and on….
