OH BOY! I groomed our last standard poodle ONCE! NEVER AGAIN!! The groomer makes every dime she gets. Poodles are hard work. I groom my yorkiepoo ( Vidia) all the time by myself but I call “uncle” when faced with grooming the poodle! With that said… She did well today and looks so fancy in her new hair do! Also her PCV came back at 43% today. That is 10 days after her reduction to 15mg. The vet says she wanted to stay on this for at least two more weeks and then look at a reduction to 10mg. We will cross that bridge when we come to it! I can even think about that yet. I am going to try and post a link to a photo of her. I hope it works as I have no idea how to edit posts on this web site!
Hi Amy
Now Coal, you are just showing off that nice pink tongue of yours very well indeed!
43 is so GOOOOOD Amy, but glad your vet is still taking it gently on the reduction. She looks really well & so pretty with her haircut, the beach holiday has done her good. I like a beach holiday myself, but my hair never looks as smart as that!
Ollie & Worzel said to tell you Coal is a real beauty – you will have to watch out for admirers, oh & can they see Vidia the yorkiepoo please?
Hope you had a really good chill-out at your Mum’s place, Amy – you deserve it. It sounds idyllic & great fun for all the family. My boys HATE WATER – they even tippee-toe around puddles, so no chance of getting them in the sea!
Very happy Coal has had great results again
Love & hugs to you all from us all

I am sorry your boys don’t like the water Poodles are retrievers of water fowl so they usually love it. Vida is a 12 pound piece of work!!! We call her the catdog as she is a dog on her own terms! She doesn’t have much use for us beyond her need of food and the occasional belly rub but only at her behest. :)
Amy Coal looks absolutely fabulous and 43 is also absolutely fabulous. Your vet is the best. That’s the way to do it. There’s no need to rush the reductions. It’s just so much safer that way.
Vida is so cute – how tall is she and what sort of a dog is she, besides being a catdog?
Love Vally & Bingo (who thinks Vida’s colouring matches his and they’d make a great pair, but only if she’s tall enough – he likes his girls with long legs)
Long legs!! SO CUTE but it won’t work out for him! She is tiny! 12lbs (5.4 kg) and about 8 in.(20.32 cm) at the shoulder. She is a Yorkie/toy poodle mix. The most obedient dog I have ever owned! I love her to death but as I said she has little use for me unless it is on her terms. She doesn’t appreciate Coal’s puppiness and I am sure I am being snubbed for bringing her into our family ;)
SOOOOOO today we added tracheas to Coals diet. She needs some more calories and she has been doing this nervous nibble/chatter thing with her teeth. We are hoping it is just a little anxiety but giving her something to chew might help as well. She is loving them. The dietitian says they are a great food source for the dogs. Just incase anyone is looking for something new to give their pups.
