Hope, my email is
(blanked)
Send me and email with the details of what time you dose and I’ll get it back to you.
I’ll be away over the weekend (it’s Friday midday my time now – Sydney Australia) so even if you just send me an email, I can get a blank form back to you for now and fix it up properly if I run out of time.
I’ll take my email off this post in a day or so (to avoid spanners).

Hi Hope, I’m glad you found the forum. It’s a wonderful bunch of people that have found each other through the toughest of times. Ask anything, someone’s been through it.
If you can get the results, as the others have said, post them here or use the urgent advice at the top, which emails it out. Patrice and Sheena understand the results and can help to explain them to you.
Just wanted to mention, some drugs can’t be taken with others. That’s very important because they can interfere with each other. For example, keep the Sucralfate at least 1 hour away from other meds as it coats the stomach and prevents absorption. If you need a hand with a drug chart, let me know, I’d be happy to make one up for you.
PS Don’t hit husband, or you’ll be looking after him as well as Steve and Steve needs all the attention at the moment.

Hi Mary, yes he takes thyroxine. Way back, his local vets believed that was his problem. It took forever to get blood tests back as one general blood test simply showed he was anaemic, second blood test went missing and third showed he was hypothyroid. He was put on 100mcg twice a day, but then ended up very sick and went to specialist hospital where he was diagnosed with AIHA (and polyarthritis). At that point they did further blood tests and put him on an extra 100mcg in the morning, so 2 am and 1 pm, but as he rapidly lost so much weight in the early days with pred, they cut his thyroxine back down to just the 2 a day again.
He’s been good since the other night. Still a little quiet at times and sleeps very heavily at night with some muscle twitching. Meal times, loud as usual.
I’ve managed to get next Tuesday off, so I’ve changed the appointment to Tuesday.

Day 1. All good on the home front. He’s been very good tonight. He probably knew if he tried anything on tonight I was ready to lose it.
He wanted to play with his ball, and his blanket and he thought he should get some scratches too. I was trying to make sure he didn’t toss his blanket around too much, in case it made him dizzy. He said get over it – he’ll toss his blanket where he wants, when he wants.
No Sheena, he doesn’t deserve any ear muffs or anything else. Despite that, I made his favourite tonight of poached chicken. Because he could smell it cooking, he carried on like he was being drawn and quartered being made to wait to eat.
I’m thinking I’m going to get his thyroid checked again. That hasn’t been checked in a while.
Love Vally & steady.
