I’m so totally with the others. One of my nephew who is a totally happy soul was so upset when he saw how bad Bingo was at the worst of it. They all knew Bingo wasn’t good but they think I’m paranoid (me – paranoid????????). Totally skeletal with a swollen belly. The skull, exactly as you describe. No roundness to the head at all. My nephew still goes on now about how great Bingo looks and says to me “remember how bad he looked?” Duh, yeah!!!
Linda, I’m with you, Sheena and Taramara are talking another language at times. I just nod knowledgeably and look smart. Bingo falls for it. He thinks I’m pretty clever – I knew where all the food and treats are – then again so does he – he just can’t reach :)
Love Vally & shorty.
Tara, you’re like me. I google everything and cancer and tumors are the first result every time.
You’re probably right in that they are most likely fatty lumps. Bingo has heaps all over him. A huge one under his cheek. He also has heaps of warts too. His vet said some time back that the cyclosporine could be the cause.
I think with the immune system being kept so shut down, things which would normally turn up and disappear are much slower now. It is most likely absolutely nothing, but when you next go, show it to the vet.
Love Vally & Bumps
I survived (I mean Bingo) first every 2 day reduction. I kept poking his during the night to check he was okay. Now I’m wondering if I can do it again, or do you think I should do:
1/4 – 1/8 – 1/4 – skip – 1/4 – skip (repeat) – this is average of 0.729mg daily (over 6 days)
or
1/4 every second day – average 0.625mg daily (over 2 days)
(He was previously on 1/4 – 1/8 – 1/4 – skip – average 0.78 over 4 days)
I’m seriously thinking of taking the first option for say 3 weeks or so, that will give me the hang of the every 2 days with a break in between with a 1/8th every 6 days.
What do you think? Am I totally insane yet???
