Just dropping a note to say that Carsten seems to be in the clear from the chicken bones and his PCV measured at 39.8 today. I take him back next week and if things keep trending this direction, the vet. said we would start tapering off the prednisone.

Just looked up TP and I noticed he is on the high side. What do you guys think about that?

TP is used as a guide as to how hydrated/dehydrated they are & this gives us an idea of how “accurate” the PCV is – I wouldn’t worry about it at all as it it only slightly above normal anyway. It probably means that Carsten was a little bit dehydrated, that’s all. Congratulations on such a wonderful result!!!!
