Joe, I have only just caught up with recent events. You are fantastic for taking care of Nauset. It is more than a coincidence that she has come to you.

Hi Friends

 

Nauset is holding her own. She is finally eating well and was started on Doxycycline which sterilizes. Adult worms.  She was doing better and starting coughing again.  Now she has three more days on two different antibiotics.  Will let you all know next Wednesday what the plan is.

 

 

Missing my Dunes tremendously.  Still crying.  It is hard.  Helping Nauset does help.  You are all so wonderful. Thanks.

Bless your heart Joe, you are such a kind & compassionate man.  Great to hear Nauset is eating at last & crossing everything for the antibiotics to kill the heartworms off.  You will always miss Dunes.  I often cry when I look at photos of my dear little Millie, even though she died 10 years ago.  Some of them are just very, very special.
