Goodness Vally and Bingo – poor both of you. I often wonder why my other cocker spaniel was so dog-gone healthy. Now I think it’s not that she was so healthy, just that I never was in a situation like this and constantly checking her. She lived to 18 and until the day she passed away (that’s a long story that will haunt me always…) and was never sick (or did I just not know it….).
Something – as we say – something always. BUT – these are lucky doggies still, because they are so loved and so watched over (understatement!!).
Good luck at the vet – PLEASE let us know. We love you Bingo boy. And Worzel – benign is good, little guy. Here’s to healthy.
Love and huge hugs, Linda & Sadie
Coincidentally Tilly had 2 wiggly lower teeth that I noticed last month and at some point in the interim they fell out. The internist said not to worry but she will not let me go near her with a toothbrush. I had been giving her a petite Greenie chew daily to promote some kind of dental health but she’s gained about 1-1.5 lbs in spite of being completely off pred. I’m thinking of purchasing Healthy Mouth water additive to prevent plaque from hardening and freshening her breath (and that is so dearly needed).
Any other tips for dental health?
