I am so please to let you all know that Leia was given her first shot today at 10 1/2 weeks. It was distemper and parvo ONLY! She will get one more shot in 6 weeks and she will be DONE! She will not get a rabies shot until she is 12 months. Then she will have titers done from then on. I can’t tell you how thankful I am to all of you on this site. All the tireless hours you put in keeping our information up to date. Also educating us and the people around us to make the best decisions when it comes to keeping our loving pets healthy! Thanks to all of you Leia is on the right path and I pray she lives a very healthy life. Free of Vaccination injury and from increased risk of IMHA.
Love to all!

Amy you fought quite a battle to get her on the right track. Hopefully the breeder will look into it more too. I’m certain that if anyone else asks that her puppies not all just be automatically vaccinated, you will have fought their battle for them too.

Amy you’ve been wonderful on the forum too. You’re welcoming words I’m certain are of great comfort to a worried owner.
